Legal & Privacy

This document is the legal notice for polarnovaofficial.com and explains how we handle your personal data under GDPR and Spanish data-protection law.

Data we collect

When you interact with the website we may collect the following personal data — always because you provide it voluntarily:

  • Email — if you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • Name, email, subject and message — if you use the contact form.
  • Anonymous server logs (IP, browser, country) — collected automatically by Vercel for technical and security reasons.

03

How we use it

  • Newsletter: to inform you about new releases, shows and exclusive material.
  • Contact: to respond to your enquiry, proposal or request.
  • Logs: to keep the site running, debug issues and protect against abuse.

We do not use your data for profiling, third-party advertising or sales. We do not share your data with advertising networks.

05

Third-party processors

For the site to function we rely on external providers. All of them comply with the GDPR:

  • Vercel Inc. — site hosting and anonymous, cookieless analytics. Headquartered in the US, adhered to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Resend (Drift.com Inc.) — newsletter and contact-form email delivery. Servers in the EU (Ireland).

We never sell your data. We do not share your data with advertising networks.

06

How long we keep your data

  • Newsletter: as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe we remove your email from the list.
  • Contact form: up to 6 months after the enquiry is resolved.
  • Server logs: 30 days at most.

07

Your rights

You may exercise the following rights over your data at any time:

  • Access — know what data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion.
  • Objection — refuse certain processing.
  • Portability — receive your data in a standard format.
  • Restriction of processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email polarnovaofficial@gmail.com from the address that owns the data. We answer within 30 calendar days. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (aepd.es).

08

Unsubscribing from the newsletter

You can unsubscribe at any time, for free, with no justification, in two ways:

  • Reply "UNSUBSCRIBE" (or "BAJA" in Spanish) to any email you receive from us.
  • Use the native "Unsubscribe" button your email client shows (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook). It is enabled through the standard List-Unsubscribe header.

09

Cookies and local storage

This site does NOT use third-party tracking cookies (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising tags). For that reason we do not show a cookie banner.

The only things we use:

  • Cookie "NEXT_LOCALE" — remembers the language you have chosen (EN or ES). Expires in one year. Considered strictly necessary, exempt from consent under EU rules.
  • Local storage flag "polarnova_newsletter_seen" — indicates you have already seen the newsletter popup so we don't show it again. Not a cookie, not used for tracking.
  • Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — anonymous, cookieless analytics, GDPR-compliant by design.

Changes to this policy

We may update this document occasionally to reflect legal or product changes. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
